Who we are
A community-based organization built around independence.
Meridian Individual Support Services is a social services organization in Lynwood, California. We support adults with developmental disabilities so they can live, work, and take part in their community on their own terms.
Every person we work with gets support shaped around their own goals, whether that is in their own home or alongside family. We meet people where they are and adjust as their needs change.
Regional Center funded
Services are funded through regional centers and state or federal programs, at little to no cost to you.
Referral based
A Regional Center referral is often preferred. We can guide you through every step of that process.
Community focused
We help people become more active and connected participants in their own community.
In-home support
Support happens in your own home or with family, for comfort, flexibility, and consistency.

How to access services
Understanding Regional Center funding.
Our services can be funded through the South Central Los Angeles Regional Center (Regional Center), which means they may be available to you at little to no cost. Here is the path from first call to your first session.
A referral from Regional Center is often preferred. If you are not sure where to start, call us and we will help you through it.

Call us. We listen, answer your questions, and explain exactly how we can help and what to expect.

Connect with Regional Center
Regional Center determines eligibility through an assessment and identifies which services and supports fit best.

Referral and personalized plan
Once approved, Regional Center can refer you to Meridian. Together we build a plan around your goals, schedule, and living situation.

Support begins
Services start on your timeline. We check in regularly and adjust the plan as your needs change over time.

Meridian primarily serves people who have developmental disabilities, are physically disabled, or are managing chronic illness, and who would benefit from community-based support.
